Technology Plan Components - Evaluation

  5.   Evaluation
Evaluation should include monitoring of the implementation steps and timelines and determine if the steps taken had the intended effect. The monitoring of the district's progress in comparison with its original timeline is an important step for managing, updating, and continually improving the plan. Monitoring the implementation of the plan is necessary to evaluate its effect and allow for mid-course corrections as needed.
      5.1   Evaluation Process

Describe the process that will be used to monitor and document progress made in the implementation of the plan including how frequently the plan will be evaluated and updated, who is responsible for evaluating and updating the plan, and how the findings of the evaluation will be communicated and distributed.

The Technology Plan Committee will be responsible for the ongoing evaluation of this plan. The intention of the evaluation will be to make decisions on the impact that technology has on the learning process for all students. A report will be given to the Superintendent and the Board of Trustees after each formal evaluation occurs.
